On behalf of Associate Dean Architecture Graham Livesey, I would like to invite you to “Vancouverism and its discontents,” a lecture by EVDS alumnus Trevor Boddy. The lecture will be held on Monday, Nov. 9 at 6 pm at the Faculty of Environmental Design room PF2160.
EVDS architecture alumnus and design/urbanism critic Trevor Boddy (The Architecture of Douglas Cardinal: winner, “Alberta Book of the Year” prize) probes hype and creativity in recent Vancouver architecture and city-building, in advance of his “Vancouverism: Architecture Builds the City” exhibition for the 2010 Olympics.
